A Message From Telemundo:

Happy New Year on behalf of Telemundo 48, we are excited for this New Year that will be once again a great year.

We at Telemundo are working to bring our viewers and our partners the best information and events possible.
Telemundo 48 would also like to thank you for the continuous support in the past 20 years. Throughout the years, Telemundo 48 has dedicated to foment the importance of education in our community and to support our Latino leaders. As part of our initiative Aprender es Triunfar, Telemundo has awarded more than $400,000 in scholarship to students in the Bay Area. Each year, thanks to our sponsors we have been able to support our students in their education.

Telemundo has also had the opportunity to recognize our Latino entrepreneurs that have achieved success in different areas. Thanks to their stories we can continue to inspire others as well as our future generations in their profession and education. Throughout the years, Telemundo has recognized more than 140 entrepreneurs.

We hope to continue with your support in our mission of creating better communities for our families. For images, videos and a summary of our Hispanic Business Salute 2015 visit: HBS 2015.

A message from our sponsor
“To Educate is to Awaken the Spirit of Innovation”
California Ford Dealers are a proud partner of Hispanic Business Salute that honors top business leaders in the Bay Area and most importantly grants scholarships to outstanding high school and college students in pursuit of a four-year degree. California Ford Dealers support and understand that higher education is the foundation to attaining goals and reaching dreams. Therefore, the Ford “Road to Success” Scholarship of $2,500 has been awarded to Enlly Michel
Bugarin Rodriguez, a student at Napa Valley College, who has exemplified a combination of academic achievement and community contribution.

California Ford Dealers also know that many other Latinos are in pursuit of a better life through higher education. While educational attainment remains an important priority among Latinos, costs for tuition, materials, transportation and daily living all add up. That’s one of the reasons Ford wants to help college and trade school students and recent graduates by offering the College Student Purchase Program, a special savings on the purchase or lease of a new Ford in addition to all other incentives.

Member Spotlight: Spirit of Sonoma Award Recipient Omar Gallardo

Omar Gallardo is a citizen of great commitment to our community. We see Omar as a contributor to the future of our county. His dedication to youth is very important because as advocates for education, we believe education is the key to bettering our community. Omar works hard in teaching the values of agriculture to our community and this is a great deal considering our residence in Wine Country. We believe that people like Omar help contribute to the economic development of a community because small steps lead to big changes and he has started with the small steps by teaching and helping our younger generation. This younger generation is the change our society needs to make Sonoma County a wonderful place to live and grow.
