The Chamber recognizes the value of an education by awarding outstanding Sonoma County students with scholarships. This annual gift giving acknowledge students whos demonstrated commitment to their community and education. Since 1988, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Sonoma County has awarded over hundreds of scholarships, totaling more than $220,000, to deserving youth in Sonoma County. Scholarships are presented every year at the Scholarship Awards Gala, which is a forum to recognize and motivate promising Hispanic students. Equally important, the banquet is a fund raising event for the scholarship program.
